Another addition to the many cranes in my Sandhill series, the original watercolor painting on polypropylene was created as a tribute to spring and watching these gorgeous bird families grow.This painting is available as an open edition print, and comes matted with an acid free white mat and archival backing.
Some say Sandhill Cranes are totems of privacy and keeping your own counsel, protection of family, longevity, balance, grace, and the "dance of life". For me, they are a symbol of knowing what is important to you and guarding it with all of your heart while remaining upright and balanced. This is not an easy task (especially for stroke survivors like me ;) but when we call out to those that love us, we will prevail, and we will find joy and dance in the process, no matter how clumsy it might look.
