What looks like a series of hearts or ginkgo leaves is actually a classic sashiko pattern called han-maru-tsunagi (linked half circles). Stitched in two tones, it adds a little pop and a contemporary feel. Perfect for those who gravitate toward softer sashiko
The default option includes the pillow cover only. Select “Add Insert” from the option if you would like us to include a pillow insert. We use a down-alternative insert made from 100% polyester, which is machine washable.

Sashiko (刺し子) - A traditional Japanese embroidery method originally used for mending and reusing old fabric.
Materials and Care
MATERIALS – 100% cotton Japanese sashiko thread, 97% cotton and 3% elastane upcycled shirt fabric, with the front lined in 100% cotton interfacing.
HOW TO CARE - Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle with mild detergent.
Iron on low to medium heat as needed. To protect the Sashiko detailing, place a cloth over the fabric while ironing.
For stains, use a color-safe stain remover, such as OxiClean™️, along with mild detergent.

Shipping and Handling
We ship orders within 1–2 business days, excluding holidays
Shipping will be via USPS Ground Advantage®, with an option to upgrade to Priority Mail® for an additional cost. Tracking information will be provided once your order has shipped.
If your item is lost or damaged in transit, we recommend filing a claim with USPS. However, feel free to contact us within 7 days, and we will do our best to assist you.
