About this Product

Classic sashiko designs paired with subtle weaving techniques and additional strokes create an elegant yet modern look—we like to call it sashiko lace. Silky smooth Daruma fine hand-sewing thread adds an elegant finish while staying durable for everyday use.

Stitched on upcycled Loro Piana wool fabric and finished with leather-like, wax-coated cotton cords. The asanoha (hemp leaf) motif symbolizes strong vitality and the wish for a child’s healthy growth, and is also believed to keep evil spirits away. This lace-like stitching method brings a soft, delicate feel to the leaves.

Available in limited quantities due to the limited materials, each item is perfectly imperfect, with no two exactly alike.
