About this Product
Morning glories, delicate yet energetic vine flowers, bring us joy every morning with their blooms. This hanafukin (dishcloth) features our pastel rainbow sashiko thread, available by the yard.
What looks like morning glories in this design is actually kaku-shippō (geometric seven treasures), a traditional Japanese pattern symbolizing the deep connections between people and the infinite bonds we share. At the center, resembling strong vines climbing a fence, is the kōhshi (check) pattern, representing eternity.
With traditional visible mending embroidery, hanafukins are not only pretty but also surprisingly tough and durable, making them a perfect choice for everyday use.
