About this Product
A pincushion made with upcycled Loro Piana wool, set inside a sashiko stitched fabric tray crafted from upcycled Italian twill. The pincushion is detachable, so you can use them together or separately.
The sashiko pattern used is called 亀甲花刺し (kikkō hana-sashi, or “turtleshell flower”) — a classic design with a special weaving technique. It symbolizes good luck and longevity.
Sashiko stitching—one of Japan’s traditional visible mending techniques—adds strength and durability to the upcycled fabric, making it a perfect choice for everyday use.
Materials and Care
MATERIALS – Tray; 100% cotton upcycled Italian twill, stitched with 100% cotton Japanese sashiko thread. Pincushion; Upcycled Loro Piana 100% wool, filled with recycled poly fiber.
HOW TO CARE - Spot clean when needed.

Shipping and Handling
We ship orders within 1–2 business days, excluding holidays
Shipping will be via USPS Ground Advantage®, with an option to upgrade to Priority Mail® for an additional cost. Tracking information will be provided once your order has shipped.
If your item is lost or damaged in transit, we recommend filing a claim with USPS. However, feel free to contact us within 7 days, and we will do our best to assist you.
