Morning Mist Designs
Hello, my name is Nancy Rahn, and I live in the beautiful mountains of Virginia.
I am the creator of all of the items found in my shop.
I'm a self-taught doll maker of one-of-a-kind art dolls and rag dolls.
My dolls are both everyday collectible ones and seasonal dolls.
I have been making dolls for well over 30 years now, for both online and at craft shows.
My favorite dolls to make are Halloween witches, scarecrows, Christmas dolls including Santa's, elves, gingerbread and of course snowmen dolls.
I also have a passion for making quilts.
The quilts are usually wall hangings and lap quilts for both every day and seasonal home decor.
How it’s Made
This scarecrow is a one-of-a-kind rag doll.
It is made from muslin and cotton fabric.
The face is hand painted without the use of a stamp, or template.
Raffia was used and is all hand sewn on.
The body is stuffed with fiberfill and weighted with doll pellets.
Outfits are made from quality cotton fabrics.
The hat is made from a burlap fabric and is decorated with fall floral.

All sales are final. For any custom orders I require at least a 10% deposit before starting an order. Pictures will be sent to you before posting the completed custom order.
