This fun pendant features an agate cabochon that has been wrapped in copper wire. It is wrapped in 3 pieces of 20 gauge round copper and a piece of 24 gauge half round copper wire. The stem of the mushroom is made by wrapping the 24 gauge half round copper wire around the 3 pieces of 20 gauge round copper wire. The stone that makes the mushroom cap is held in with the extra pieces of the 20 gauge round copper wire. The bail is made by wrapping braiding 4 pieces of the 20 gauge round copper wire and the rose is made by twisting 2 pieces of the 20 gauge round copper wire together. This piece is handmade in Minnesota.
Agate is thought to help with grounding and balance. It can bring stability in times of change and happiness in yourself. It is also thought to reduce stress and anxiety while promoting inner peace and harmony.
Agate is believed to resonate with the crown chakra.
This piece measures 3 3/8" tall and 1 5/8" across and will come with a 21" braided black cord.
This piece isn't oxidized but could be. The oxidization process is done by putting the piece in a mixture of liver of sulfur and water. I leave the piece until for 30-45 seconds and then I pull it out and clean it with soap, water, and a piece of steel wool. I make sure not to scratch the stone when doing this.
