This adorable crochet rabbit is handmade with love and thoughtful intention. Each rabbit comes with a reversible dress, scent satchel, backstory card, and instructions (also available on our Instagram).
Research shows that smell and memory are closely linked, and people can recall vivid memories from a familiar scent. A Fragrant Friend is meant to be a thoughtful gift for homesick college students, people grieving the loss of a loved one, or anyone else who needs the comfort of a familiar scent.
Each Fragrant Friend comes with a scent satchel. The satchel's design is inspired by Korean bokjumeoni, or blessing satchels. The satchel is meant to be stored inside the Fragrant Friend to symbolize a gift with a blessing. We have pre-made scent satchels that last for at least 1 month, or you can select an unscented satchel and use your own essential oils or fragrances.
We currently offer 3 comforting drink-themed scents for fall and winter:

Welcome to eden & elim!
We’re a mother-daughter team from the midwest, and we enjoy making thoughtful handmade gifts. Many of our items are expressions of our very own life experiences and have personal stories woven into them.
What is eden & elim?
eden & elim exists as an invitation to rest and reflect and to feel revived and restored before moving forward on your journey.
Rather than being a straight road, life is made up of winding paths, crossroads, mountains, and valleys. Every once in a while, you'll come across an oasis that'll give you the choice to pause on your journey or keep going. While moving forward is important, it’s just as important to stop at those oases to rest and reflect.
Many of our items have been inspired by true events and are creative expressions of lessons learned during our own seasons of rest and reflection. They have special, personal stories that we’re excited to share with you.
Every item is handmade with love and filled with the hope that anyone who receives one will know that they’re beloved. Each gift comes with the sincere invitation to leave guilt at the door while you choose to pause for a moment. We hope that every time your eyes fall on our gifts, you’ll be reminded of the importance of rest and how it guides us to reflection, revival, and restoration.
We’re certain that in the grand scheme of life, your rest is just as productive as the steps you take to move forward on your journey. And, in every moment you accept the gift of rest, we hope that your reflections will restore you to live as the gift that you were always meant to be.
How it’s Made
Every rabbit is crocheted by hand. The dress and satchel are sewn with our own design. The scented beads are soaked in essential oils and packaged in baggies to seal the scent during the delivery process.

Packaging
- All our items come with complimentary wrapping. We want every item to feel like a gift to you.
- If you are buying multiple items, please let us know if you'd like any of them packed individually as a separate gift.
Returns & Refunds
- Returns accepted within 7 days of delivery.
- No returns for any Fragrant Friends.
- Items must be shipped back within 14 days of delivery if looking for a replacement.
- Buyer is responsible for shipping. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Cancellations
- Buyer must contact us within 2 hours of purchase.
Shipping
- Our cart is set to calculate shipping based on your address.
Customs, Duties, Tarriffs
- Customers are responsible for all customs and duties due. If a package is returned for any reason it will not be re-sent unless the customer pays to have it reshipped.
