PASSIONATE + CREATIVE + OBSERVATION many people find themselves drawn to Scorpios because of their dynamic and likeable personality traits. Scorpios like their fragrances to be just as intense as they are. Passionate, sensual, exotic yet mysterious is the one that will attract their attention so we created a this complex yet captivating blend. Delicate saffron threads blend seamlessly with sweet anise, accompanied by a subtle hint of eucalyptus. Luscious black currants and blackberries accentuated by a touch of green, earthy basil. Elevated by the addition of dark musk, tonka bean, fennel, and amber, which are further enhanced with mandarin and lemongrass, amplified by bergamot and ginger. All these components steeped in a base of white tea and jasmine. This fragrance is infused with natural essential oils, including bergamot, litsea cubeba, and ginger, sweet orange, patchouli, cedarwood, pine, juniper, and clove bud.
SODALITE is a blue + beautiful peaceful stone that support Scorpio’s deep thinking and helps them tap into their intuition. This Scorpio crystal turns charged emotions into rational thoughts, helping to soothe and balance. It replaces fear with peace and helps them understand who they are in a deeper way.
RAW CRYSTALS that have been cleansed under a full moon and inserted to each candle for decoration only. These are natural raw crystals that will not burn! Before lighting your candle cut the curl, trim the wick to 1/4 inch, light your candle. When you have a nice melted pool of wax across the top of the candle, blow it out and remove. Rub rocks under warm water, wipe down to remove wax + enjoy all of their benefits. Relight your candle if desired.

Meet the Maker
When the pandemic hit in 2020, I was let go from my job causing me to lose all sources of my income. As a single mom, and the sole provider of my 2 children, I was scared + uncertain + slightly panicked of what was next. With no time to waste I confronted the pivotal question: “What is my passion and how can I support my children?” I’ve always had the dream of one day transforming my candle making hobby into a candle making business, but given my situation I NEVER would have thought about being a self employed start up. Turns out this was now my sole focus + greatest opportunity. I had no idea where it was going to go but it was my only option. I risked my entire savings and dove in head first with both feet + fingers crossed. Despite the initial fear + uncertainty, I now recognize this as an opportunity to pursue a path aligned with my true calling. As scary as this was at the time, my darkest hour ultimately unfolded into the beginning of a beautiful journey.
I have been pouring + creating for over 30 years. Atlanta 1992, my sister and I formed a company called Sisters Candles, just for fun and the love of candles, who knew where it would go?! Always using 100% all natural soy wax, all of the oils used today are super clean. We use a fragrance + essential oil blend that are not only the safest + highest quality but also undergo rigorous testing, ensuring peace of mind as you burn them in your home, office and in the environment around your pets + littles. Free from toxins, carcinogens and harmful chemicals, phthalates, gluten, alcohol, dyes, and irritants, they are also Non-GMO, cruelty-free, and vegan, reflecting on my commitment to provide nothing but the best. All Bode+Ev candles are hand poured in small batches with lots of love, a cotton braided wick and all of our 10oz are housed in 100% recycled glass containers. With just a few simple tweaks from way back when, a new name and an updated look, Bode+ Ev was born. My candle making hobby, turned candle making business, has brought on a whole new meaning and a whole new life for me + my family.
As for the name, BODE+EV, it holds deep significance for me as it’s derived from the names of my two beloved children, Boden and Eviana, symbolized by the birds in our logo. Birds not only represent my children but also embody powerful symbols of peace, transformation, freedom, and power. They inspire me to persist in reaching my goals and dreams, despite any obstacles I may encounter along the way. For years, I have been chasing my dreams, and now, I feel like I’m truly living them and it all began with a hobby, the loss of my job, a huge risk + a candle. I hope you love burning my them as much as I love creating them.

Crafted with precision, I am proud to say that we have been hand pouring + perfecting our candles for over 25 years! My daughter and I created this collection, which holds great significance for me. We began by researching the scents associated with each astrological sign. Then, we carefully selected these scents from our shelves and crafted all of these aromatic unique blends. Each candle is topped with a raw crystal that aligns with the characteristics of each sign. All Bode+Ev soy wax + coconut oil candles are hand poured in small batches with lots of love + dedication. Our captivating fragrances are meticulously crafted blends of fragrance + natural essential oils, free of carcinogens, toxins, and hazardous chemicals linger in both cold and hot throws. They are the safest, highest quality + most thoroughly tested in the industry and are never diluted, so each candle has a strong concentrated aroma that doesn't disappear when burned. A true testament to our commitment to consistency + quality of each candle we pour to ensure a worry-free ambiance for your business, home + family.
