Hi, I’m Paula Bowers! I’ve been creating pottery for over 12 years, drawing inspiration from the rich history of South Carolina ceramics, the natural beauty of our family farm, and the music that moves me.
My work is all about joy—whimsical, functional pieces designed to be used and loved every day, yet crafted with the care and quality to last a lifetime.
How it’s Made
Each tumbler is hand-built and then carved with custom stamps to create a sea shell-like texture. A circular shell medallion is added and painted by hand for intricate detail. After bisque firing, the tumblers are glazed with layers of deep cobalt, soft ivory, and earthy browns, then high-fired to over 2200°F, ensuring durability, shine, and long-lasting beauty.
