About this Product
It seems that no matter where in the world you go, if you're near the coast, you'll meet a seagull. They are lovely to watch as they wheel in the sky above on a lazy summer day. But it's an entirely different story if there's something in your lunch they decide they want, and they turn their full attention on you. In this piece, I used a more cartoonish style and color palette to capture the almost laughable goofiness of seagulls begging for food. But by crowding more into the frame than would comfortably fit, they turn vaguely threatening as they fight each other over your crumbs.
This is an original, one-of-a-kind acrylic painting by me. In it, a flock of seagulls hovers overhead, hoping for a snack. It is painted on an 8" x 10" canvas board, and finished with varnish to keep it safe from fading due to UVA rays.
It will be shipped unframed in a cardboard box, and carefully protected with bubble wrap.
