Meet the Maker

Hello. And WELCOME! Fog Hollow Studios is owned by Patty and Laura, a mother and daughter team, who even though they both work full-time cannot go a day without being in their studios.  Patty has an Associates degree in Fine Art due to her passion to draw beginning at a very early age.  Laura could also be found in the Art rooms in school, took Fine Art classes in college however keyed into her other passion, Equine Science in college.  Many of Patty's Fine Art paintings hang on walls all over the world and the USA, in personal homes and in businesses. She has illustrated 14 books and is currently finishing up a children's book of her own. Patty has always worked in the healthcare industry; nursing homes as a Rec Director and Hospice as a Chaplain/Bereavement Counselor. Needless to say, creating in a wide variety of mediums has always been her way to decompress and nurture her soul.  Even though Laura found her need to work full-time she always found time to create and help Patty with projects. They both have backyard farms currently with beehives, horses, chickens, dogs, a donkey and have had various other farm animals and gardens over the years! They are both very close with nature and sustainability where you can see that influence in much of their work. Their stories are long, and backgrounds are very diverse and adventurous! You only live once, so do what you love and love what you do!

We also offer our art and unique creations to the public to help offset some of the incurring care expenses of Laura's daughter who is Autistic, has a Cleft Palate and is Blind in one eye that wears a prosthetic and has impeded vision in her other.  She has a positive outlook and is fun and joyful!  Her story and journey are just amazing!

Check back often as we are always expanding our variety of items.  Thank you!
