Meet the Maker
Hi! I'm Misty, and I've been crafting custom crochet and jewelry pieces for over a decade. My journey began in 2010 when I started crocheting dresses, skirts, and purses for my daughter. After the birth of my twins, I turned my focus to making blankets and lovies.
While my twins were sleeping, I discovered a passion for jewelry making. I started with simple pieces and gradually expanded my skills to create bracelets, necklaces, and eventually, stunning resin jewelry.
Today, I'm dedicated to crafting beautiful and unique pieces that bring joy to my customers. I love the personal touch that handmade items offer and the opportunity to connect with people through my work.
How it’s Made
The UV Resin is mixed with a secret ingredient (table salt) to create the stone like look.
This makes the piece opaque and still sort of translucent. it's weird but make some beautiful creations.
I then mixed in Epoxy pigment. This made it a like pastel looking purple because of the color of the white salt. this made the Base of the earrings the last touch and a pop of glitter I used extra fine Clear reflective Glitter.
It's one of my favorites to date. Being careful because its Gloopy with the salt. I add it to my Mold's I use three different molds for this earring. I cure under the UV resin Light. After curing Filing happens to create a smooth piece. then Findings are Added. After the jump rings and Earrings posts or Hooks are added, the earring is added to a card and added to My earring display rack. These earrings took me about 45 minutes to make and Something beautiful was created.
