This pancake holster is RH and handcrafted from a double layer of 3/4oz vegetable tanned leather. The inside of the holster has the smooth side where it will protect your firearm. It has a good snug fit so the owner will not have to worry about the firearm falling out. The holster is hand dyed a rich brown and has an acrylic finish to help protect the holster from moisture. There are a few wrinkles on the back which occurred during the wet molding and drying process. It gives the holster a rustic look but does not hurt the performance of the holster in any way. I did not want anyone to get it and think I was trying to hide something. This holster should last a lifetime of use the way I make all of my leather projects.Note I discounted the holster slightly due to the wrinkles in the leather.

Meet the Maker
My name is Steven Shell, I am a retired fire fighter and fire marshal from a city in Northeast Tennessee. I have lived here in the beautiful mountains of Northeast Tennessee all my life. As a fire marshal I was a police officer also where I graduated from the police academy at Walter State Community College. I later went on to complete my degree in Criminal Justice. Working in law enforcement I became interested in fire arms and holsters. I started crafting my own holsters about a year ago; after friends and work associates saw my holsters they wanted me to make holsters for them. I love working with my hands designing and creating projects that I can be proud to put my makers mark on.
