This is a stunning blue topaz necklace made with wire wrapped freshwater cultured silver pearls. It is finished with sterling silver chain. The lovely shade of silver in the pearls complements the delicate blue color of the faceted blue topaz trillion-cut gemstone. The necklace is 18 inches long and set with a sterling silver spring ring clasp.

How it’s Made
I made this necklace by first making the freshwater pearl wire wrapped chain using 26 gauge sterling silver wire, finishing the ends with sterling silver chain and wire wrapping the clasp to the end. I then hammered a 7 mm sterling silver closed jump ring and then attached the pearl chains to the hammered ring by wire wrapping the pearls. Then I set the blue topaz trillion in the sterling silver setting and attached it to the hammered ring with 4 mm sterling silver jump rings.
