About this Product
This rustic cedar candle holder has slotted sides to allow a warm glow to come through. This is reclaimed cedar, so it has some dings and imperfections. Made from our old mailbox post, it has a little bit of paint still in the cracks. I think this gives it a lot of character. And it has the wonderful cedar smell!
Includes flickering LED candle. The hole is 1.5" across and 2" deep if you have a candle of your own you want to use.
Approximate size is 3.5" x 3.5" x 3" tall

I inherited my mom's craftiness, and I get a lot of joy from making things!
My current crafty focus is on woodworking and painting. Bringing the two together is especially satisfying. I love making fine woodworking pieces, but I don't shy away from throwing together something rustic using reclaimed wood.
Seasonal items are fun because they give me something new to play with all the time. I can always look forward to the next season if I'm caught in the doldrums. Creating something lovely and useful is my favorite. But it's also nice to just make something pretty.
If you like the style of something but prefer a different color scheme, please don't hesitate to reach out. Custom orders will take more time. But it's worth it to wait a little while for the perfect piece!
How it’s Made
Milled and slotted with the table saw. The finish is board butter made from mineral oil and beeswax.
