About this Product
This bowl is made from the stump of a small tree that was cut down by a beaver. As you can see, the outside of the bowl has been carved and sculpted by the teeth of the beaver. My part in its creation was to hollow out the inside and to give it a finish to accentuate its beauty. The inside of the bowl has some interesting coloration, adding to its charm and beauty.
The outside of this bowl is finished with polyurethane and the inside with a varnish-oil blend. It's about 4-3/4 inches in its widest dimension across the top and 2-1/4 inches high.
This bowl could be used to hold candies, nuts, paperclips, potpourri, or other miscellaneous items on a desk or elsewhere, or enjoyed purely as decoration. It will make a unique and special gift for anyone who loves nature and the outdoors.
