Please read before ordering!
A custom portrait, made to last a lifetime, that captures the essence of you or your loved ones. Features an acrylic painting on canvas personalized by your photo and story. Each painting comes with a certificate of authenticity that ensures it’s a genuine work of art. With every portrait purchased, I will support The Humane Society of the United States which fights for animal protection.
PLEASE NOTE:
-These sizes are only for one subject (person/pet). Message or email me artbyeternaly@gmail.com for larger sizes.
-Order with the correct shipping address. I cannot change the address after the order is placed.
-The 4x4” size is a close-up of the subject (face or, eyes, paws, etc.).
- I will NOT paint NSFW, copyrighted characters, or celebrities.
- Orders over $250 will require a signature confirmation.
- If ordering more than 2 paintings, I need to make a custom listing for you to calculate an accurate shipping cost.
- I make sizes available for purchase on request so I don’t receive more work than I can handle. Message me if you’re interested in a painting and I will either make it available for you to order now or you can join my waitlist upon request.
- I can work with special requests, such as mixing loved one’s ashes with the paints, message me or email me artbyeternaly@gmail.com for any inquiries.
PROCESS:
1. Place your order and describe what you’re looking for in the personalization section.
2. Send me the reference image via “message seller” button.
3. After we communicate the idea, I’ll send you a rough draft and ensure you’re satisfied before starting the portrait.
4. As I’m painting I’ll send progress photos and then a photo of the final result for your approval.
5. Once it’s done I’ll securely package the art and ship it to you :)
CANVAS
-Stretched canvas: Roughly half an inch in thickness. Can be hung by the attached sawtooth hook attached or the d-rings with wire I provide (not attached).
-Canvas panel: Roughly half a centimeter in thickness. Can be hung using the plastic sawtooth hanger I provide (not attached). 4x4” size only comes in canvas panel.
-If you would like a different canvas shape or a size not listed, message me or email artbyeternaly@gmail.com
BACKGROUND
-None: One color background (blue, red, etc). Let me know what color you’d like; If you’re unsure, we can figure it out together.
-Simple: Multiple colors or a simple background (plain grassy field, sky with clouds, plain room, etc)
-Complex: Examples include a lake surrounded by a forest, room with many things, field of flowers, etc)
ADD-ONS
Simple: Examples include one line design, flower petal, bubble, text/writing, a simple flower such as a forget-me-not, etc
Complex: Examples include flowers, fruit, butterflies, leaves, etc
PATTERN
Fur markings or clothing with designs. Does not apply to 4x4” size. Message or email me if you’re unsure what qualifies for this artbyeternaly@gmail.com
Simple: Examples include stripes, polka dots, a little floral
Complex: Examples include tabby cat, certain owls, plaid, lots of floral
DIGITAL FILE
I’ll send a png file of the portrait via email. I won’t be taking revisions, if purchased; I’ll simply refine small details.
NOTE:
-Please refrain from posting the high resolution file I send to you on social media. I would like to minimize the risk of my art being stolen by art thieves or for use in AI models. I will send a low-resolution, watermarked copy which I’d appreciate to be posted (should you wish to do so). You are very welcome to share a picture of the canvas
REFERENCE IMAGE
-Send me the photo/s you would like me to use in message or email artbyeternaly@gmail.com. Please provide a good quality reference photo in color.
-I can edit together several photos to use as a reference image for orders with mutiple subjects and/or add-ons.
-Feel free to send me extra photos of whoever I’m painting and tell me a little about them. I’d like to capture the memory of them, not just copy the photo :)
MATERIALS
I use acrylic paint on canvas primed with gesso. The surface is smooth with minimal texture. I use a satin varnish on top; paintings have a little sheen without an overly glossy finish.
TIMELINE
-The estimated completion time ranges from 1-3 weeks. This varies depending on the size of the canvas, speed of communication, and if I’m working on other commissions.
REVISIONS
-A few major changes are allowed in the rough draft while we’re communicating the idea. I won’t begin painting until it’s approved.
-A few minor changes are allowed while I’m painting the portrait. I’ll send a photo before varnishing for final approval.
-No changes once the painting is varnished.
GIFT
-Be sure to order in advance to ensure it arrives on time.
-If this is to be sent directly to the gift recipient, let me know if you don’t want the receipt included in the package. Also, please ensure the address you place the order with is the address you intend the portrait to be sent to.
REFUND
-Full refund if you cancel your order before I begin or if I cancel your order because I’m unable to reach you within 7 days BEFORE I start the rough draft.
-No full refund once I begin the rough draft.
-If I’m unable to start or complete your commission, you will receive a full or partial refund depending on the reason.
-If not a full refund, the amount refunded is based on how long I have worked on the piece.
- If, for whatever reason, I don’t hear from you once I finish the artwork, I’ll varnish it and ship it just before the ship-by date.
- I accept cancellations within 1 hour of purchasing and also if you request me to cancel your order before I begin.
-I do not accept returns or exchanges as this is a custom item.
-If received damaged, refer to the damages section
DAMAGES
-I take great care when packaging these paintings to ensure they arrive safely. I take pride in the archival quality of each piece. To ensure your painting lasts as long as it should, check out my FAQ section. Also, additional insurance is included to cover the value of the artwork.
-If received damaged, please reach out to me WITHIN 60 days of receipt with photos of the damage so we can resolve the issue.
-Item may be refunded once the issue is resolved.
-If damaged after receipt, I don’t do refunds.
- Disclaimer: The extra items provided are offered as a gesture of appreciation and for your convenience. Art by Eternaly assumes no responsibility for any accidents that may occur while using them. Buyers agree to use these extras responsibly and at their own risk.
COPYRIGHT
I, the artist, retain all copyright and reproduction rights to the commissioned artwork, including the right to display and reproduce the work for promotional purposes. The painting is for personal, non-commercial use only. However, you are permitted to resell the original artwork without making reproductions, provided that me, the artist, is credited as the original creator.
PRIVACY
I often share finished paintings on my social media pages to showcase my work. However, I understand that some commissions may feature personal subjects, such as family members, and I want to respect your privacy. Before I post, I will always seek your permission. If allowed to post, I may also include brief descriptions of the subject’s personality and only the names of pets.

Hi! I’m Eternaly (Aly).
I’m an artist preserving memories through colorful art and the creator of Art by Eternaly.
Since my early years, my eyes would light up when making visions into something tangible. Art has always been a sanctuary for me—a place where my imagination runs free.
From digital drawings to traditional paintings, each work is crafted with quality and care. I love capturing moments big and small in a unique, painterly style. My mission is to create timeless pieces that remind us of fond moments.
How it’s Made

CARE TIPS
PAINTINGS:
- Handle with clean hands.
- Display away from humidity and direct sunlight.
- Dust gently using a soft brush or cloth
KEYCHAINS, PINS, MAGNETS, ORNAMENTS:
- Avoid exposing to harsh conditions.
- Clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
- Keep these items away from prolonged direct sunlight or high heat.
- To reduce the appearance of scratches, polish with wax or apply a thin coat of uv resin.
STICKERS:
- Apply stickers to clean, dry, and smooth surfaces.
- Avoid placing stickers on surfaces exposed to moisture or extreme temperatures.
- Peel stickers slowly and carefully.
- Avoid using water, harsh chemicals, or abrasive materials.
PACKAGING
- Discreet Packaging Each package comes with a small sticker of my sheep character and doodles on the outside. If you would prefer discreet packaging with no branding, let me know in the "Note to Seller" section during checkout.
- Paintings I take great care when packaging canvases to ensure they arrive safely. Each piece is wrapped in glassine paper to protect the painted surface. It is then wrapped in minimal bubble wrap (to reduce waste) and honeycomb kraft wrap to keep it protected.
All items are placed in a sturdy box and finally inside of a biodegradable polybag (to prevent weather damage) with fragile label stickers.
