Glistening shade of blue, green, and purple, painted on silk by plants. Hand dyed with plants grown and harvested by us, you get a one of a kind color that shows the intricacies of nature. Dyed with blueberries, red onion skins, and eucalyptus.

Taking care of your plant dyed items is very easy. Simply wash COLD on GENTLE using a PH NEUTRAL DETERGENT. AIR DRY flat or drying rack, use a cool iron if necessary. It is normal for the color to change a bit over time. That’s the joy of nature!
We do our best to show the color of the pieces accurately. The magical qualities are difficult to capture, so please realize that it may look slightly different in person.

Hi, I’m Megan and things are a little quacky here!
Ducks Never Waver started when I was going through severe health issues and one day I saw some ducks swimming in frigid water, doing their thing, just excited to be ducks. I decided I wanted that, maybe not to be a literal duck, but to be creative and have a beauty filled life! I’ve been doing fiber arts since I was 9 and I am still so excited about creating one of a kind pieces! Always keeping comfort and ease in mind, I’ll throw in a nod to ancient crafts, bold color combos, or an eclectic use of materials that make you go “mmmhhmm that’s a bit quacky!”
My hope for my products is that they express the beauty that God has created and show the healing quality of art for the maker and you!

How it’s Made
Silk is treated with an alum mordant (to make sure the dye stays). Then is dyed with blueberries, red onion skins, and eucalyptus. Hand sewn hem for the smallest hem possible and it makes it very easy to tie.
