About this Product
This is a lovely set of stud earrings and earring jackets. The studs are sparkling smoky quartz cushion cut gemstones set in sterling silver prong settings. The separate handmade earring jackets are made with wire wrapped sandy colored cultured freshwater pearls, finished with smoky quartz briolettes. The studs are about 1/4 of an inch in diameter. The total length with the jackets is about 2 inches.
The sterling silver settings have top posts with sterling silver butterfly clutch backs. The S-hook loops on the jackets make them articulated under the studs, so jackets will move like dangle or drop earrings. The studs can be worn with or without the pearl jackets and the jackets can be worn with other studs, giving you 3 looks with one purchase!

How it’s Made
I made these earrings by setting 5 mm Smoky Quartz gemstones in the Sterling Silver settings. Then I made the jackets with 5 mm x 4 mm oval Freshwater Pearls and Smoky Quartz briolettes, wire wrapped with 26 gauge Sterling Silver wire. Then I made the ear jacket S-hook with 22 gauge Sterling Silver wire and attached the pearl and Smoky Quartz drops.
