About this Product

Free First Class Shipping in the United States! This dancer from The Nutcracker Ballet is a handmade round ornament made of high-quality porcelain. A transfer printing of the original acrylic or digital painting by Kim Chambers is pressed onto the ceramic using high heat adhering it permanently onto the surface. It will not peel, crack, or fade! It measures 2.875" in diameter and a red ribbon is included for hanging. It arrives snuggled inside an origami pocket, with a gift card for convenient gift-giving! Because I attempt to get the largest image possible on the front of your ornament, I advise putting personalization on the back. Personalization with a handwritten name and year (in a fine line Sharpie marker) on the back of your ornament is free. Many variations in character, color, and design are offered so you can choose the ornament which best fits your Nutcracker memory. If you wish other customization, add the following links for upgrades to your order. Please note these changes are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis depending on demand and time constraints. Order early! Pink $3 Level: Any WORDING changes or rearrangement of wording to the front that are not pictured. (such as the dancer's name and year included on the front instead of the back) https://bit.ly/pinklvl Blue $7 Level: Any COLOR changes to the front (such as making costume blue instead of green). https://bit.ly/bluelvl Mint $12 Level: Any DESIGN changes to the front (such as adding or subtracting elements from the costume). https://bit.ly/mintlvl Want a custom ornament from "scratch?" Ornaments start out as paintings. A custom painting (11" x 14" acrylic) of your dancer's costume, done in the same, mannequin-style as the others is $120. This package includes the painting, a personalized ornament, a certificate of authenticity and free shipping! Only a limited number of these can be accepted during Nutcracker Season (October 1st to December 31st) because of demand and deadlines! Message me with questions and inquiries. Still have questions? Meet the Maker

For 7 years, Kim has built a line of Christmas ornaments for the Nutcracker Ballet, dance in general, and sports ornaments.  Ever expanding, she has more choices than ever with two ornament shapes, two skin tones, and four hair colors which offers a wide selection to gift your dancer or athlete!  In the beginning, she created paintings to develop the images for the ornaments.  Now she digitally paints them and is able to provide custom costumes for an ever-growing customer platform.  She manufactures each ornament on porcelain to supply a unique, original for her customers.  Always a southerner, Kim lives with her husband, John, and two pups, Toby and Heidi in a suburb of Atlanta, GA.

FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)

Can I get a custom ornament of my dancer?

Yes! You can change the name of a current ornament, recolor a current ornament, have a current ornament redressed with your costume, or have a new, original ornament created. Message Kim to discuss what you would like and she will detail your options for customization.

Why do the dancers have no faces? Can one be added?

The original intent of the development of this style for the ornaments was to produce a mannequin-style dancer and showcase the costume. This would allow for lots of ethnicities of dancers to be represented. Since the image is heat-pressed onto the ornament, a face couldn't be added. (Unless you wanted to draw or glue one on!)

Why are the ornaments for a character named in some instances with Roman numerals? What is the difference in these ornaments?

The ornaments named with Roman numerals are just the order I created them in (and I named them that way to keep it simple and catalog them.). The difference in designs are nothing more than to give my customer's choice. A lot of studios treat the Nutcracker Ballet and the characters differently. So one role has a lot of costume choices, for small and big dance studios alike.

Are paintings of the ornaments available?

In some cases, yes! Although not listed (yet!) paintings that have been created to produce some ornaments are available if, of course, they have not already been sold. Some are 16"x20" some are 11"x14" and a very few are 8"x10". For the availability of a painting you might be interested in, please message Kim.

Are you selling these ornaments outside of GoImagine?

I have a shop on Etsy, but I have not given anyone else permission to print the images from my paintings. I understand there are a few sellers on Amazon who have lifted a few of my images from the internet and are creating Nutcracker ornaments. These images are STOLEN and in many cases, are a scam, and definitely not ORIGINAL Kim Chambers' Art Ornaments. At the present time, I have NO ornaments for sale anywhere else except GoImagine and Etsy. The originals have my logo on the back of every one. The ornaments produced elsewhere, since the images are copied, are not of the same quality as I produce. Thank you in advance for purchasing my original product!

Can these ornaments be made double-sided with one dancer on one side and another dancer on the other?

No, the back of the ornaments is reserved for personalization.
