Handpainted blue silk scarf with snowflakes
This beautiful winter wonderland-inspired scarf is dyed sapphire blue in a tie-dye fashion to create a soft patterned background. The snowflakes are hand-painted, so just like nature, no two are alike. This 11x60-inch scarf is a perfect size to wear as a neck scarf or a thin wrap.
❤ CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Hand wash in warm water using a gentle soap (we find hand soap or shampoo works well!) leave to dry naturally and iron on the silk setting.

How it’s Made
The scarf is done in a multi-layered process of dying with a base color, a second dye to provide shading and then each snowflake is hand-painted to be unique. I also hang my scarves outside during the dye-drying process this often adds a natural shading element to the scarf.
