What started out as just an empty bottle, has been repurposed into a 100% hand painted dot winter scene with a snowman, Christmas trees, snowflakes and fairy lights when turned on give the impression of stars in the sky! While one side of the bottle has all the lovely winter scenery, the back and sides are completely red (on the outside) to help illuminate the fairy lights. Whether you have the fairy lights on or off, this elegant, one of a kind bottle is sure to brighten up your home. Meet the Maker
Greetings! My name is Candis and my wonderful husband and I are the makers of our items in Crafts By Candis. A couple of years ago, I started making crafts with wine bottles. The first one was just a paint it, hang a Christmas sled on it, add a topper and voila - done! Then it progressed into making other kinds of decorative Christmas bottles and then beach themed bottles. In addition to giving new life to empty bottles, we now make our own wooden sleds to adorn the bottles with and laser engraved coasters. Coming soon will be laser engraved wooden clocks and whimsical wooden flip flops.
A little about us ~ For the past few years we have been empty nesters and we currently full time in our RV. We have 2 sons and one grandson! It's minimal living and gives us so much time to visit family, enjoy the outdoors, go golfing, watch lots of sports and make our crafts together. Just recently we became the proud parents of 10 acres of Nature Paradise - raw land! So eventually we will be back in a house that we are building ourselves. Lots of work but it's so rewarding!
I come from a Sales & Marketing background and have dabbled in some different markets - first with hotels, then RV's and lastly self storage properties. I have recently found my dream job (working where my husband works) as an administrative assistant - absolutely love the job, the company and the co-workers, not to mention the additional time I get to spend with the hubs.

How it’s Made
I started with an empty bottle and after cleaning it and allowing it to dry, I added red acrylic paint everywhere except one side. Once that had dried, I had painted without any stencil or template the winter scene on the front of the bottle. After all paint had dried, I applied by brush a layer of paint sealant to protect it. Next, I glued the burlap and bow at the top of the bottle. The last thing I did was add the fairy lights!

SHIPPING POLICY: We try to ship within 3-5 days. We are not responsible for any delays after item has shipped.
RETURN POLICY: Please contact us within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. For returnable items, they must be returned, at the buyers shipping expense, within 30 days of delivery. Customized and/or personalized items are non-refundable. Exchanges are not available on items.
For items that are broken upon delivery (broken by no fault of the buyer) the buyer may be eligible for a full refund. Photos of the packaging and item(s) will be required within 7 days of delivery.
