Meet the Maker
Hi, my name is Kelly Hawkes. I am an art teacher, mother of two active boys and one collie named Tuka. I started Hawkeshollow when my boys were little and I wanted to create bedrooms unique to their interests and passions. I found with my art degree I could create the custom room decor myself and found great joy in doing so. I would love to share my skills and help you create that perfect space for your precious little one. I provide hand painted dresser knobs, switch plates, tissue boxes, wastebaskets and canvas wall art. Each piece is hand painted with great care. I really enjoy working with customers to assist them in bringing their vision to life. I look forward to working with you!
How it’s Made
To start each wooden knob is painted with a white primer to ensure color saturation. Then 4 coats of your chosen colors are added to the knob with acrylic paint. Each knob has 4 coats of gloss finish applied for durability. Lastly each knob is signed and dated at the bottom. Hardware is included for instillation.

Please allow 2-4 weeks for the creation of your order before shipping time. Most items will ship sooner than the 2-4 week time period.
