About this Product
Solid red cloth placemats, sold in sets of 2, with optional matching napkins. Made from 100% cotton with a layer of interfacing in the middle to add structure, but are not overly thick and top stitched around edges, about 3/8" from edge, in matching thread. These are a nice large size, 14"x 18" (35.5 cm x 45.7 cm). Reversible - reverse side is made from the same fabric so they are completely reversible! Matching napkins available with this listing and are also sold separately. Matching table runner also available and sold separately. Fabric is pre-shrunk before sewn. I also offer more solid color placemats (coming soon).

***Important note about variation in fabric color shade***: When you order items in one of the solid colors I offer I will use fabric from the same fabric bolt/dye lot to ensure consistency in color for all items in your order. However, if you return later to purchase additional items in the same color shade, please be advised that your subsequent order's color shade may not match exactly as it may be made from a different fabric bolt/dye lot and color shade can sometimes vary slightly between different dye lots.
Suggested Care Instructions: Wash in cool/warm water, tumble dry medium heat and remove promptly to reduce wrinkling and iron as needed.

Meet the Maker
Welcome to Stitched by Beverly! I offer a collection of handmade aprons and home goods for women, kids and men and also offer (embroidered) personalization on most aprons and some other items.
Stitched by Beverly is located in Maryland, about midway between Washington D.C. and Baltimore. I started my business when, after a long corporate telecom career, I found myself part of a downsizing, and ended up retiring early. With my newly found free time, I rediscovered an old hobby I loved, sewing, that I had learned as a teen but hadn’t had much time to pursue in adulthood. My old sewing machine had been somewhat neglected over the years, except for Halloween costumes, occasional Christmas gifts, or mending projects. I've since upgraded to a newer computerized machine with lots more bells and whistles but my original Singer machine still works and I suppose it’s considered an antique now!
One of the things I enjoy about sewing is the creativity of coordinating different fabric prints and colors, and choosing sewing patterns. I sometimes combine pieces from different sewing patterns or alter pattern pieces slightly for a different look and I'm continually on the hunt for new designs.
So, that’s how I got here. Nowadays instead of working on a laptop in an office, I work on a sewing machine in my home based sewing studio and love it!

Returns & Exchanges
I glady accept returns, exchanges and cancellations on non-custom / non-personalized orders.
For Returns and Exchanges:
- Please contact me within 14 days of receipt so I'm aware of an incoming return.
- Ship the item back within 30 days of receipt
- You will need to pay the return shipping and send with tracking.
- Once I receive the item back in its original, not worn/not used condition, I will send the exchange or issue the refund (including original shipping). If the item is not returned in its original condition, buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
For Cancellations:
Please contact me asap when you’ve determined you need to cancel an order. Once the order has shipped, the “Returns & Exchange” policy will apply.
