Welcome to Me and You Creations where I share my grandmother’s gift of handmade crafting, with a dash of love, heart and joy to share with others.
As a stay-at-home mom and wife, I'm blessed to have a family that means everything to me. My 13-year-old daughter's passion for sports motivates me, and I'm grateful to be her biggest supporter, attending her events in our hometown of Douglas, Wy, and beyond. As she’s growing older, I'm excited to rediscover my own dreams and aspirations. My husband's love and encouragement empower me to pursue my passions, and our two fur babies bring much happiness to our family. I also enjoy reading, camping and music.
Me and You is a heartwarming phrase my husband and I have cherished every day since before our wedding 23 years ago, and now with our daughter, filling our lives with love. Our beautiful colors represent our family's love as they were our wedding colors.
I was blessed to have a grandmother who was an exceptionally talented crafter. I would watch her bring her creative visions to life and as I grew older we would craft and create memories together. Her remarkable talent, and generous spirit, inspired me to explore my own creativity. Years later, I would go on to meet my husband’s grandmother. Her kindness, creativity and dedication to her craft, reminded me so much of my own grandmother. Even though our grandmother’s are gone, I continue to find inspiration in crafting, knowing that it allows me to stay connected to the strong, creative women who helped shape my life and my daughter’s.
How it’s Made
Each of our solid red oak sign blanks is handcrafted from start to finish in our home workshop using real hardwood — not MDF, plywood, or mass-produced panels.
We start with solid red oak boards, carefully cutting each piece to size and assembling them by hand for strength and stability. Every board is reinforced on the back to help prevent warping and ensure long-term durability.
Each sign is then sanded smooth by hand to create a clean, even surface that’s ready for painting, staining, vinyl, wood burning, or personalization. If a sealed finish is selected, a clear protective topcoat is applied to preserve the natural beauty of the oak while offering added protection.
Because every board is made from real hardwood and crafted by hand, no two pieces are exactly alike — natural grain patterns and color variations make each sign uniquely yours.
This is a true handmade process, created with care, time, and attention to detail — so you can focus on bringing your creative vision to life.
