How do you eat pie? I don't know about you, but when I was younger, I would cover the top of my pumpkin pie with so much whipped cream that it became more of a second layer than a mere topping. If that is how you felt (or feel) about your pie, this is the hat for you! The brim takes inspiration from the colors of a delicious homemade pumpkin or sweet potato pie, while the main 'body' of the hat takes its inspiration from lovely whipped cream. This is also made to pair well with a pie-inspired shawl (coming soon!)--just like pie and whipped cream.
This is a women's hat made to fit the average size female head.

Meet the Maker
Hi! My name is Dorothy, and I am the wife of the aforementioned "Grumpy Hubby", and mother to our Lovely Little Girl (as well as the artist behind "Grumpy Hubby Crochet").
My mother first taught me how to crochet when I was around 5 years old, and since then it has been like riding a bike--I may put it down for a while, but eventually pick it back up again and again. I have made baby blankets, hats, scarves, fingerless gloves, and other items in the past as gifts for friends and family, and now I am hoping to share my handmade crafts with you! How it’s Made
I took inspiration from a shawl I am currently working on and decided to make this hat to match! Granny square-type cluster stitches and some lovely yarn from Jo-Ann (100% Acrylic) make this hat beautiful and unique! (It's an original design too, and I had so much fun coming up with it!)
This will also be prewashed with Free and Clear detergent, and kept in a pet-free home until it makes it's way home to you.
