STUNNING DESIGNS: This greeting card set include six assorted designs that feature a different bird image on the front cover; these cards feature a luxurious wrap-around cover that extends the texture of the front image slightly around the creased spine to the back.
HIGH QUALITY PRINTS: Each card is printed in-studio individually using an 8-color dye-based ink printer on 80lb/215gsm professional matte double-sided photo paper, which brings out the lustrous colors and detail; the smooth surface allows you to use pens, markers, or pencils with ease.
HANDMADE IN THE USA: The birds on the fronts were each illustrated by Corey Johnston during his live art streams with the input of his family and friends. Using Procreate on the iPad and specially developed brushes that lean into texture and detail, each image is unique and special.
PURCHASING MULTIPLE SETS: Please be aware that Etsy charges shipping for each individual item. I will adjust the price of shipping and refund you the difference, which Etsy usually delivers to you upon delivery of the item.

This shop features the hand-drawn illustration of Corey Johnston, an artist living in Eureka, CA, USA. With a strong focus on charming, idyllic images that entertain the heart and spirit, this shop endeavors to put lovely pictures on display in your home that you can be proud of!
Featuring unique calendars, greeting cards, and other items, the pieces seen here are all illustrated, printed individually in-house, hand-assembled at home with heart, and sent off to you by the artist himself. The images are painted digitally with specific intent: to brighten your day and create more beauty in your life. It's a labor of love.
All items are printed individually using an 8-color dye-based inkjet printer. All images were created using Procreate on an Apple iPad.
I livestream my work on Twitch and MakerTube.net on Sunday afternoons 1-4:00pm and Wednesday evenings 7-9:00pm PDT (UTC-7).

How it’s Made
These cards were my interim project between my bird-oriented art calendar and my series of 100 birds with circles that followed shortly thereafter. This series of cards helped me learn SO much, and I'm really proud of how they turned out. Each one has a gorgeously distinct color. I am particularly proud of the female Northern Cardinal, which I consider the centerpiece of the set. I'd never paid attention to their rich caramel hues before, and I came to believe that their plumage, while less subtle than the male version of their species, is much more elegant and visually interesting.
I do all these on a 12.9" M1 iPad Pro with an Apple Pencil in the app Procreate. From there, I print each set individually as they are made to order on my in-studio Canon Pixma Pro 200 printer, with rich 8-color dye-based hues that really pop on the matte surface of the photo paper I use.
These birds are near and dear to my heart.
