Looking for a unique western decor accent piece? This upcycled, decoupaged cowboy boots vase will add just the right touch to any rustic ranch house design. It began as a salvaged square jar, prepped with chalk paint and decoupaged with the rice paper cowboy boots. Then I textured the glass with sandy paint and trimmed with clay. The clay trim is painted with turquoise and antiquing wax. This 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 7" vase was lovingly sealed with UV resistant varnish.

Having semi-retired from professional opticianry, I looked for something to occupy my creative side. I started decoupaging a gallon size pickle jar and was instantly hooked by Mod Podge Mania. Determined to not blow through my retirement savings in one year, I source all of my projects from upcycled and salvaged treasures. This shop is dedicated to all things decoupaged and the philosophy of making something from nothing.
