About this Product
Rustic style, handmade crossbody canvas tote bag. This bag is handmade using waxed canvas for the exterior, featuring a blanket weight wool front pocket. The front features two pockets made of wool, the back does not feature the wool fabric or pockets. The interior is made of off white canvas and includes one interior pocket. No detail is missed with the genuine leather handles and details, finished with brass accents and metal zipper closure. Included with this bag is an adjustable crossbody strap that is removeable. This bag is handmade by me in my studio in Minnesota.
Why choose waxed canvas? This is the same material marine sails are made from and is highly durable and water resistant. Waxed canvas does patina over time and that is part of it's beauty. If you would like it back to the original look, that can be achieved with heat from a hair dryer. Please watch a YouTube video on how to restore your waxed canvas finish.

Sharon is the owner and primary creator for Stitch & Hammer Studio. Sharon has always been creative and Stitch & Hammer Studio gives her an opportunity to share her creative side. When she is not busy in her studio, she is business enjoying the outdoors with her two sons and mentoring other women wanting to start a small business.
How it’s Made
This canvas and wool crossbody and handmade by me in my studio in Minnesota. The fabrics are hand cut and hand assembled by me and sewn together on my industrial sewing machine. The exterior is constructed of waxed canvas and features a wool exterior pocket. The interior is made of heavy non-waxed canvas and one interior pocket. This crossbody is finished with details of hand cut genuine leather handles, brass accents and a metal zipper. All materials used are new new materials.
Shop Policies
We do guarantee our products against defects and if your product should arrive with a defect or damaged you have 7 days to contact us by email for a replacement item or refund. You will need to return the item to us within 7 days of the shipping label being processed. We will issue a shipping label for return shipping.
If you should change your mind, you have 30 days to notify us by email for a refund. Once you notify us by email you have 10 days to return the item to us and the buyer is responsible for the return shipping. Once we receive and inspect the item, we will issue a refund in the same method of ordinal payment. If the item is not in original condition, no refund will be issued.
Ordering processing time is 1-3 business days, excluding holidays. Sometimes family emergencies do occur and we will notify the buyer if shipping is delayed.
