About this Product
Inlaid with a real metal, silver colored SPARTAN SHIELD, these grips will take your 1911 to the next level! These have the Spartan Shield inlaid in MAPLE grips, which are stained Driftwood (light grey) and StarBurst painted with a Gunmetal Grey/black color to really highlight the awesomeness of the grips!
They are finished with 5 coats of lacquer for great looks and a very durable finish.
These are finished by first sanding them to a glassy smooth feel, and then coated with 5 coats of hand-rubbed tung oil, giving them a lasting and durable finish which is resistant to moisture, oil, and dirt.
They have been test fitted on a Kimber, Colt, and Springfield, so they should fit just about any FULL SIZE 1911 (3 1/16 inch center to center grip screw spacing), although, due to manufacture differences, a small amount of fitting may be required.
If you require them modified for an ambidextrous safety, please let me know!
These are an accessory, and do not include: screws, the display in the picture, any firearm, and are for practical cosmetic purposes only.

How it’s Made
These grips are laser cut, hand shaped, laser engraved, sanded by hand, inlaid by hand, finish sanded by hand, and lacquered by hand. They are then test fit on a Springfield, Colt, and Kimber, to ensure proper fitment (although a small amount of fitting may still be required).

Custom items cannot be returned for any reason. Of course, if there is a problem with your custom item, please contact me, and we will work on possible resolutions.
It is the responsibility of the buyer to make sure the item is of the correct size. For reference: Full Size 1911 has 3 1/16 center to center screw hole spacing; and, Compact 1911 grips have 2 11/16 center to center screw hole spacing. Other models differentiate by caliber, or model. If you have ANY questions regarding fitment, please let me know before ordering!
Any of my grips can be modified for ambidextrous safeties, just let me know before ordering so we can work out details!
All of my items are made from Wood (and possibly other inlays), and as such, excessive force, over-tightening screws, drops, etc. may cause them to break. It is also the nature of wood, that every piece, even possibly from the same stock, may have variations in color, and grain. I will always seek out the most consistent, or most interesting pieces, depending on the design; but all that to say, yours WILL look slightly different than the photos shown here, but yours will be original, and different in its own special way!
Most of my items (unless otherwise stated) are MADE TO ORDER! This means when you place the order, I will immediately begin work on your item. Most grips take between 5-10 days to complete, depending on their complexity. Your patience in waiting for these handcrafted items is greatly appreciated.
