About this Product
Spectral Ghost Vessel - hand-made by pouring various colors of modified gypsum into a mold in such a way that it creates unique patterns. I also handcraft the molds. Each Vessel is poured individually so no two are identical. No resin was involved in the making of this ghost vessel.
This is a Spectral Ghost Vessel, and each Ghost Vessel contains one devious spectre that has been magically captured and confined within its ghostly form. Once the vessel is in the hands of the spectre's soul mate (you), it is released as an enlightened spirit and fills your home with light, love, and good vibes. Be warned, although they are happy and grateful to be with you, if ignored for a significant amount of time they may revert to their mischievous ways. It's best to get it a friend.
This Vessel is a colorful combination of aqua and purple swirled over an underskirt of yellow. Somehow this reminds me of Robins Eggs. Not the natural ones, the candy ones. Like at Easter. Now I'm hungry. Wait. Why are we talking about Easter?
Measuring 3" tall, 1.5" diameter
Due to the nature of the material used, there may be visible air bubbles. These slight imperfections are inherent to a handmade piece and add to its charm and unique quality. The colors of the vessels have variations and patterns within that are intentional and should not be viewed as defects.
The Ghost Vessels are sturdy but may not survive a fall from a tall cabinet onto a tile floor (although mine have but I can't guarantee it)
This is not a toy nor intended for small children. They scare easily. The Ghost Vessel, not necessarily the child.

My name is Sylvr Sharp and I'm a mixed-media artist. I have never met a medium I didn't like.
My background is in retail visual display creating window displays and specializing in thematic environments and props. My favorite themes include Halloween, Dia de los Muertos, and Christmas.
Throughout the process of creating I often come across sources of inspiration which I immediately have to try. The products here are the result of those "shiny object" moments.

How it’s Made
I start with sculpting the shape of each Ghost Vessel by hand and then making a mold of it. I make each vessel by mixing a unique color palette of modified gypsum which is then poured into handcrafted molds. The patterns and various effects are formed by how the material is poured into the mold. This results in the colors running completely through the vessel as you can see by looking at the base. Sometimes metallic powders or sparkles may be incorporated if I'm feeling extra fancy.
The Ghost Vessels are made from natural materials and pigments.
