Spoon rest features custom handmade clay monogram letters of your choice. (Samples of other letters and colors are shown in pictures.)
This spoon rest is designed from a flattened clear glass wine bottle and wire wrapped with decorative copper coated wire. Pictured is one with untapered neck but neck may be tapered depending on bottle availability.
Each clay medallion bead is hand rolled, hand cut, hand stamped and hand glazed. Because of this, results when fired may vary. Some imprints maybe lighter than others. Some fired beads have more variation in color than others. This is to be expected with hand made pottery.
Spoon rest measures approx. (12" long x 3 1/2" wide x 1 1/2" deep.) Size varies slightly depending on bottle.
Top side is glossy and bottom is matte to semi-gloss with some texture expected.
Dishwasher safe in top rack of dishwasher.

Meet the Maker
Hi,
I'm Teena Stewart, a North Carolina artist. For as long as I can remember I've been making art and creating handmade works. It was a natural outlet for me as a kid because I was extremely shy and and was frequently sick with asthma and bronchitis. Art became a release and the day I discovered my dad's old sketches in the attic, I was smitten. Not long after I asked for an art kit for Christmas and things took off from there.
When I lived in California I grew fascinated with the beautiful beach glass found on the beach. I even worked it into a border in my California home. That spurred me to start playing with recycled glass and eventually led to the purchase of a dual media kiln.
These days I work primarily in acrylics, mixed media, glass and jewelry. My work often features nature and animals. I hope to connect people with the Creator and creation through my art.

How it’s Made
These are slumped on thin fire paper, melted in a kiln, formed into a spoon holder. Clay is hand cut, hand rolled, stamped and kiln fired. Bottle neck is wrapped with copper coated aluminm wire. Bead is attached to neck embellishment with copper wire.
Shop Policies
I typically ship in 1-3 days except for during the holiday season when ship times can be longer due to higher volume. Custom orders may take a few days longer. No returns on personalized merchandise except for error on my part. If for some reason you are dissatisfied with your order upon receipt you must contact me within 1 week of receipt and describe the problem. I will work with you to try and resolve the issue. I am not responsible for products that are reported as delivered by shipping carriers even if the customer claims they didn't receive it.
