About this Product

This modular medal display plaque is based on the official hexagon honeycomb setup offered by The Conqueror Challenge to display your virtual distance challenge medals. Whether you've just completed a marathon or are working through virtual races at your own pace, show off your hard-earned medals in style with these easy-to-hang, single-piece plaques. The honeycomb shape lines up easily with plaques you've already hung on your wall for a modular, expand-as-you-go brag board.

These plaques are fully functional but have some cosmetic flaws (burbles or globs in the finish, significant discoloration, layer shifting, a cat hair got stuck in it, etc). Perfect for covering with felt or velvet for an extra classy feel. They work as intended, but are less attractive. I don't intentionally produce lower-quality products, so these will only be "in stock" when there is a printing issue.

They are 3D printed out of environmentally friendly, industrially compostable PLA plastic. The single-piece construction means no magnets, no clasps, no tape, and no fiddly threads to align; it just plain works. They're designed to work with 3M Command Picture Hanging Strips (the velcro-like ones). Cut them in half, or cut them down to fit. Picture hanging strips come included with every order.

To determine the size of your medals, measure them from where the ribbon attaches to the medal to the bottom-most part of it (see photos for visual how-to). Conqueror Challenge and Pacer medals fit most comfortably on a 4" plaque. Please note that different size plaques will not form an even honeycomb grid, and will not mix and match easily.

There are multiple ways to weave the medal ribbons through the slots, depending on the length and how you want to display them. Watch the video below or look at the product photos for my recommended method.

COLOR OPTIONS Gallery at stephaniecervi.design/3d-printing-color-gallery

  • I'm not picky: A grab bag of whatever's currently loaded in my 3D printer, or whatever I have to use up first. Could be any color, could be stripes of multiple colors. Includes plaques that have color flaws (lint, fuzz, etc) but are otherwise unflawed. Perfect if you want to hit them with some sandpaper, primer, and spray paint for a specific finish or color.

  • Custom: Any PLA filament color currently available, but this may delay delivery

Standard:

  • Black

  • Dark gray

  • Magenta

  • Red

  • Dark red

  • Orange

  • Medium Green

  • Dark green

  • Teal

  • Electric blue

  • Royal blue

  • Stone blue

  • Royal purple

  • Dark brown

Premium:

  • Copper

  • Silver

  • Gold

  • Cookies & Cream: white with black flecks

PLEASE NOTE: Lighter colors are no longer available as standard options due to an abundance of production challenges. They pick up lint and residue way too easily, and are far less forgiving to work with than darker colors. For every one good plaque, I end up with one flawed one as well. If you want plaques in those colors, I recommend purchasing “I’m not picky” or even the factory seconds plaques, and sanding/priming/spray painting them. You can also order them as a custom color if you wish. I also have the .STL file available for purchase if you want to print them yourself.

How it’s Made

I 3D-print each plaque in house on one of my Prusa Mk4 printers.

Shop Policies

Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

My refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, I can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

I don’t accept returns for:

  • Personalized and custom orders (including custom colors on standard 3D printed products)
  • Scratch & Dent and Factory Seconds products
  • Downloadable software products and digital files (including but not limited to .STL files and .PDF files)

To complete your return, I require a receipt or proof of purchase. To satisfy this requirement, provide me with the order number and the email address attached to that order, or forward your order confirmation email to me once you’ve contacted me regarding your return.

I only issue partial refunds in certain situations:

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery, based on the date the post office receives the item

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, I will email you to notify you that I have received your returned item. I will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund, in part or in full.

If you are approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original payment method, within 14 business days. Some banks may take longer to process refunds once I submit the refund to them.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact me.

Sale items

I only refund sale items for the original purchase value, not the regular sale price of the goods.

Exchanges

I only replace items if they are defective or damaged. Send me an email to arrange return shipping, at my cost.

Sizing mistakes and changing your mind about what color you want does not qualify for an exchange.

Missing packages

In the case of missing or misdirected mail, the first thing you should do is check with your neighbors, or, if you live in an apartment, check with the apartment manager. If none of them have received your mail by accident, your mail carrier may remember whether they delivered your package.

Next, you could inquire with the Postmaster at your local Post Office. They will have a record of your package being processed, scanned, and loaded for delivery. The Postmaster can also confirm via GPS tracking that the package was scanned as “delivered” at your residence, instead of down the street or across town. You’ll need to provide them with the tracking number and the expected delivery address.

If the Postmaster confirms via GPS tracking that your package was delivered to your address, then this is likely a case of postal theft. The following three things should happen next:

  1. File a “Missing Mail Search Request” with the USPS through this website: www.usps.com/help/missing-mail.htm
  2. Report the suspected theft to the USPS Postal Inspectors by calling 877-876-2455 or online at www.uspis.gov
  3. File a police report with your local police office to report the theft.

As far as standard e-commerce policies are concerned, once a package is scanned as “Delivered”, I have fulfilled the order and have no obligation to compensate buyers for lost or stolen packages. However, I understand this is a frustrating situation, and can remake and replace your order once I receive a copy of either the theft report to the USPS Postal Inspectors or your local police theft report.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a store credit for the value of your return. I’ll email you a gift certificate once I receive your returned item.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, I will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping returns

To return your product, you should email me so that I can provide my mailing address, and so that I know to expect it. Please provide me with a tracking number when applicable.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable, and will not be included in your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. I only ship exchanges after I receive and inspect any returned items.

If you are returning more expensive items, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. I can’t make any guarantees about receiving your package until the carrier labels it “Delivered” and I confirm receipt of it to you via email.
