My soaps are made in small batches, so bar sizes, shapes, and colors may vary from batch to batch. Handmade soaps will last much longer if allowed to stay dry between uses. Please use a self-draining soap dish to keep it from sitting in puddles of water.

I am a bit of a science geek. I love learning about everything, from the inner workings of spiral galaxies to why leaves change color in the fall. So, when I read the ingredient label on a gorgeous bar of handmade soap, I knew I had to figure out how to make it myself.
After watching a ton of YouTube videos and reading countless articles, I made a batch of soap. I WAS HOOKED. The techniques required me to monitor time, temperature, and the amount of water used to keep things fluid. I found recipes that combined exotic oils and butters I had never heard of to create luxurious, spa-worthy bars. I got to measure essential oils and other additives down to the gram. It turned out that making soap was a marvelous way to combine my love of science and my desire to be creative.

How it’s Made
Let me take you on a whimsical journey through the magical world of my handmade soap! Imagine if you will, a workshop filled with nourishing oils, vibrant colors, exotic fragrances, and more soap molds than you can shake a loofah at. Each batch of soap is made in my soap kitchen by yours truly. It’s a labor of love and a bit of a nerdy obsession, but hey, who doesn’t love a good soap opera?
Now, let's talk about the science behind the suds. Achieving that perfectly moisturizing, pleasantly fragranced, long-lasting bar of soap isn’t achieved by just mixing ingredients and hoping for the best. Oh no! After making hundreds of batches of soap, I have a dozen or so tried and tested recipes that are sure to please. Each batch then goes through a curing process that lasts an agonizing four to six weeks. That’s right, four to six weeks of waiting, watching, and resisting the urge to sneak a bar for an early lather test. This curing time ensures that when you finally get your hands on one of these bubbly beauties, it’s a high-quality soap you will love.
