Meet the Maker
Hi, I’m Carli Bechtold. I am an embroidery artist and pattern designer from Marietta, PA. I make Stick and Stitch embroidery designs from my original illustrations. From time to time I also offer a few digital downloadable Patterns, kits, finished items and odds and ends. I personally use my designs to up cycle clothing, making one of a kind pieces of wearable art.
Stick and stitch patterns are my absolute favorite transfer technique which is the reason I choose to share most of my patterns this way. They are easy to use and can be used on anything you can pass a needle through. Your finished art can be as simplistic or intricate as you wish.
In addition to maker, I am a wife, mom step-mom, pre-hospital registered nurse, community health advocate, hiker, biker, yogini, jujitsu practitioner, pet mom to two dogs, two cats and a macaw, and friend to many. I love being outdoors whether it is in my backyard (my husband is an amazing landscaper and has planted beautiful gardens with waterfalls), deep In the woods or exploring a new city. Most of my inspiration comes from a love and appreciation of nature and all of the amazing things found outside.
