The body and strap are made from an awesome soft burgundy cotton fabric with appliqued and embroidered fashion shoes in a B&W houndstooth pattern ~ The base is the matching burgundy fabric ~ The lining is a silky polyester with a B&W houndstooth design – The small inside slip pocket matches the lining fabric
The soft shape is maintained with interfacing and plastic canvas
Strap loops thru 3 metal rings for secure carrying - Just grab ‘n go!
For easy access to pocket, just pull the strap from one loop and the rest of your items are secure!

Meet the Maker
I am a mom of 2 and Grandma to 3 precocious little ones! I have crafted my entire life (Thanks, MOM!) and worked the last 16 years in a Tailoring Shop. Now that I am retired, it is time to share my stash of "creations". I sew, knit, crochet and embroider mostly, although I have dabbled in painting some wood crafts and am attempting some jewelry creations. I am an active "scavenger" for vintage fabric, trims, buttons, beads, buckles, baubles and other odd items to use in my creations. Because of this, I rarely make the same item twice the same way. I feel this ensures a type of personalization for each unique customer!

How it’s Made
So what do you make from a unique but small piece of fabric like this? Why, a box bag of course. This way each shoe from the fabric is featured. It was nice that I just happened to have a piece of houndstooth lining, too. I love it when an idea comes together!
