Stamped & Oxidized Handmade .999 Fine Silver Unisex "Sunrise" Ring
This handmade, .999 fine silver ring has an impressed peace sign in an all-over pattern of hand hammered dimples, all oxidized to a dark charcoal and coated with Renaissance wax to preserve the oxidization and resist tarnishing of the silver (we do this to all of our jewelry). Hand rolled from an ingot we made by melting an old piece of .999 fine silver tableware (fine silver is 999 parts per thousand pure silver, while sterling is 925 part per thousand pure), the ring measures 3/8-inches wide, a size 6 1/4, weighs 5.2 grams and is available for custom orders in widths and sizes suitable for finger, beard or hair rings. We offer free First Class Package shipping on all purchases with a U.S. delivery address. Shipping upgrades are available by request at actual cost as calculated on the USPS website. International shipping via First Class (when applicable) or Priority Mail is available at actual cost as calculated on the USPS website. How it’s Made
All of our jewelry is handmade using sustainable practices including melting of broken or obsolete gold and silver objects, the use of natural and/or recycled fabrication, stationery and shipping materials whenever possible and recycling of previously used or collected gemstones. By design and the processes of melting, hammer-forging and/or rolling the metals we use, our jewelry is more substantial in mass and weight than most commercially made jewelry (that's why we include gram weights in all of our listings). Please note that due to vagaries inherent in this process, each piece is unique in some respect(s), and custom orders will reflect this in slight differences in hammering and other tooling marks, depth of oxidization and etc. We are always pleased to discuss these matters with you, and encourage your questions regarding commissions for custom work.
