This solid wooden American flag is small enough to be used in a DIY door wreath or sit on a shelf. These tiny flags will fit within an 11.5 inch long and 6 inch high area or a 14 inch wire wreath form. All of my flags are individually made by me in my tiny woodshed in Texas. Made with the same care and techniques i use with my larger flags. The beautifully carved stars and the rustic burnt look will certainly be an amazing first impression on a front door, porch or shelf. Show off your American pride. Nothing says "Murica!" like the red, white and blue of the American flag. I use a water resistant, satin stain and final finish so it can be hung inside or out. Like any wood product, the actual colors and grain patterns will look different with each flag. I don't mind rush orders and have wholesale pricing on custom orders of 10 or more . Meet the Maker
I retired from being a case manager for people with intellectual disabilities a few years ago and decided to pursue my woodworking hobby full-time. Prior to that I served in the Navy during the 80's as a Cryptologic Technician. I love this country and the opportunities it has given me and my family. I enjoy the challenge of building a piece that represents the blood, sweat and tears someone has gone through to accomplish who they are and where they have been. It's something you can't buy in a big box store. Let's design something that's special and unique. A piece you are proud to give and they will never forget. A piece that will speak for itself!
How it’s Made
I use solid wood for all of the 14 pieces that are used to build all of my standard flags. I use solid select pine to carve the stars in my union so they are sharp. I apply 2 coats of water - based polyurethane so it can go outside but I recommend to avoid direct sunlight.
