Thank you for visiting my photography site. Knoxville is such a picturesque place, I simply love exploring it with my camera!
Knoxville has a beautiful river walk that runs through the heart of the city and beyond. This paddle boat makes regular trips up and down the river, complete with dinner crusies and concerts. But here it rests, ebbing with the water's flow.
Although this listing is for a standard photograph, I also offer my work on metal, wood, or canvas. I can say, metal is a fabulous choice for architecture photography, and makes a great display with no framing required. Canvas is beautiful too, resembling more of a painting, and wood adds a grainy look and rustic feel to the work.

Meet the Maker
Hello, My name is Katharine Emlen and I welcome you to my shop. I am a photographer and writer living in Knoxville, Tennessee. I love finding patterns in nature and beauty in the disheveled. I also love closing things off to remove context and make one wonder! Knoxville is a great place to be as an artist for the town is quaint, picturesque, and full of personality and charm. Very photogenic indeed!
I am also the artist behind The Poetry of Nature, as series of work that pairs macro photography with poetry. That work is featured in its own shop as it is distinct and complete as a body of work.

How it’s Made
TITLE: STAR OF KNOXVILLE
This photo was taken along Knoxville's river walk, right next to Calhoun's Cafe, where the Star of Knoxville rests when it's not out on a dinner cruise. The colors on this day, were simply perfect with the rich blue water and clear summer sky.
All photos will come hand signed and have a thin white border to help with framing. They will ship with a backing board behind them in a clear mylar sleeve.
Shipping is included within the continental United States.
Please note, I use a professional photo lab to process my work, so please allow 5-7 days before I can ship to you.

PROCESSING TIME
All of my photographs are printed to order using a professional photo lab. Because of this it can take up to 5 days of processing time before I can ship to you. So please allow 7-10 days from when you order until you receive your photo.
Greeting cards and postcards will be shipped right away. :)
RETURNS
If you are unhappy with your image I am happy to offer a refund once the photograph has been returned. I am also happy to exchange it for a different one of the same size, once the original has been returned. Returns and exchanges are accepted up to two weeks from receipt of order.
INTERNTIONAL
I do not yet offer Digital Downloads, but I am more than happy to work with you on the most economical way to get you your print.
