The Signature Collection: Stunning Blue & Clear Rhinestone Octopus/Kraken Nestled in a Pure Copper Flame Painted Open Collar Statement Piece with alloy Gears to create the Steampunk look. The approximate length of this statement piece is 20 ½” and a width of a bit less than ½”. It has a 5 strand wire weave around the base of the necklace and a lot of swirlies one each end.
It is Copper so it is malleable. You can adjust it to accentuate your necklines. If you need any assistance with the adjustments, I am just a text or a phone call away. I include my phone number with every order.

Meet the Maker
I am Missy Prégeant, Designer & Creator at Designs By Missy, LLC. For years, I have been crafting unique pieces for the Krewes of Gasparilla, a tradition I hold dear. When the pandemic hit and events were canceled, I knew it was time to pivot and expand my creative horizons. After extensive research, I found my new passion in working with metals, particularly Copper and Aluminum, but also Steel and Brass.
My journey into metalworking is self-taught, beginning during quarantine. I focus on creating Wearable Art, often starting without a pre-drawn plan and letting the process guide me. The best part? I absolutely LOVE what I do. My Art Studio, which is just a fancy name for my Dining Room, is where I spend most of my time, only stepping out to cook, eat, and sleep. I feel incredibly blessed that God gave me this talent, and His timing couldn't have been more perfect. HIS timing is always Perfect!
Before this artistic venture, I spent about 25 years in the hotel industry, holding roles such as Guest Service Manager, Sales Manager, Director of Catering, and Director of Sales. While I loved my time in hospitality, burnout led me to seek a new path. Today, I am grateful and blessed to be where I am, doing what I love every single day. God is Good!!!
