This steampunk chainmaille necklace embodies the feel and look of the genre. With the metal components; pewter, aluminum and stainless steel, as well as the gear design of the pendant. The black and gun metal colors of the pendant are also key to this style.
The Full Persian chain is made using anodized aluminum rings. Aluminum is a great metal as it is very lightweight, yet strong when woven, and nickel free. The chain is available in a variety of lengths and colors. All the color options are shown above in the last photo. You can choose to have 2 colors like the example or a single color if that is your preference. The example shown is made with Black and Black Ice.
The pewter gear pendant hangs in the center of the chain by a ring that connects both halves. By connecting the chain in this manner, the pendant will remain in the middle of the chain and the clasp around the back of the neck.
All of the components of the necklace are nickel free including the stainless steel lobster claw clasp. The lobster claw is a strong clasp ensuring a secure closure for all day wear.
A cotton lined gift box tied with matching ribbon is included in your purchase.

Meet the Maker
I started making beaded jewelry in 2009 and have expanded my skill set over the years to include chainmaille jewelry and chainmaille decor. Each piece is made in my home in the beautiful Berkshires of Massachusetts.
My beaded pieces are all one of a kind. Color inspiration is pulled from a combination of the pendant that is paired with the necklace and from colors found in nature. I try to take time each day to see how the colors around me blend and pair together.
My chainmaille on the other hand is customizable by both color and length. I use mainly aluminum that comes in a variety of anodized colors. Aluminum is a favorite of mine because it is so light weight and easy to care for.
