I designed and hand crafted this genuine sterling Silver and Turquoise Zia Pendant. It measures 19 inches in length. The pendant measures 1 1/2 x 1.25 inches. It has a beautiful sterling silver lobster clasp. The Zia Sun Symbol is a sacred emblem of the Zia Pueblo people in New Mexico, USA. It represents the Zia worldview and its four sacred obligations. The symbol is recognized and revered globally and has become an iconic representation of the state of New Mexico1. The design consists of a red sun with four points radiating from a circle, reflecting the pueblo’s tribal philosophy and the harmony of all things in the universe.
