Meet the Maker
Years and years ago, I took a metalsmithing class not knowing what to expect, and it was like learning magic. I got to try melting, hammering, etching, drilling, sawing, and filing metal into new and exciting shapes.
Now, I have a workshop in northeastern Wisconsin where I “magic” my way to pieces I am proud to share. I’m learning new things every day, and the best part? I get to meet and work with lovely people who share their stories to create a keepsake they, or a loved one, will cherish.
How it’s Made
A little acid etching, and a whole lot of hand sawing make this piece a reality. All sterling silver on a super soft, suede black cord. It's got the rhythm of the road and it's comfortable, too!

RETURNS
I want you to love your piece, but if you don't, I will accept returns of unworn/unmodified merchandise at the full price (see Cancellations section below about custom designed work). Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Contact me within: 7 days of receipt of jewelry; ship the item back within: 14 days of delivery
Please pack the item carefully to minimize tangling or damage.
Returns will be processed in approximately 1-2 weeks after receiving them.
Please contact us first so we can anticipate the shipment and discuss the nature of the return; DO NOT just send the jewelry back without letting me know about the issue. For faster customer service, please provide us with the contact information used on the order.
REPAIRS
I will attempt to fix or exchange a defective item or one that broke during shipping depending on the type of damage sustained. Some items have been etched with patterns that cannot be put back into place if scratched through or chipped off. If it was broken within 14 days of purchase, we will cover shipping both ways.
CANCELLATIONS
Custom orders can be canceled by either the artist or the customer, but please contact us if you have any problems with your order.
Custom items can't be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or defective.
GENERAL JEWELRY CARE
It is recommended to keep jewelry away from salt water, chlorine, sauna, household cleaners, or any chemicals such as hairspray, perfumes, lotions, etc. These things can discolor metal and remove finishes applied to your jewelry.
All photographs and original designs in my shop are owned by Gray Hat Creations. Do not copy, distribute, recreate, or promote these without my express permission.
