The flashy stone measures 6 mm. The pendant measures 13 mm.
The chain is a 1.6 mm, 18 inch sterling silver cable chain with a lobster clasp.

Its name is derived from the Greek word 'kuanos' or 'kyanos', which means 'deep blue', alluding to its typical blue color.
Kyanite is a polymorph of both andalusite and sillimanite.
