This blue aurora opal stone pendant was wrapped by hand in solid 0.925 sterling silver wire. The stone is a lovely teal blue color with accents of pink, green, and purple that dance with the light. You will definitely stand out in a crowd with this piece! The stone is made from a cut of aurora opal overlaid with clear quartz. This allows for a large opal stone without breaking the bank! The wire is hand polished and buffed for a beautiful shine. This pendant measures just under one and three quarters inches in height. It would be a unique piece to add to your collection as it is a one-of-a-kind necklace that will not be remade.
Your pendant will come on a sterling silver chain that is adjustable to three different lengths. You will receive this necklace in a gift box along with a small polishing cloth and an airtight bag for storage.

Hi! My name is Christy, and I am a jewelry artist from Lexington, Kentucky. I fell in love with the art of jewelry making when I was ten years old after making a simple beaded bracelet. Since then, I have grown in my craft by learning new skills and collecting unique gemstones to incorporate into my pieces. Now, fifteen years later, it is my absolute joy to make one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces to share with you! Opening Sunglade Jewelry is a dream come true. As someone who has battled chronic illness on and off for years, jewelry making has been a constant ray of sunshine in dark times of my life - thus how my shop got its name. I hope my pieces will bring a glimmer of joy into your life every time you wear them!
My pieces are made with solid copper or sterling silver and hand-picked semiprecious gemstones. The durability and quality of my pieces are important to me. How it’s Made
I hand make each piece from start to finish. I start by picking out a beautiful gemstone, then create a vision for what design would complement it best. I skillfully wrap the stone in wire, ensuring the stone is stable in its setting and all wire ends are secure. Next, I polish the piece with a 6-step polishing process to make it shine. I also hand cut and assemble all of my chains. Finally, I keep my pieces stored safe away until they are ready to ship to you!

Care Instructions
All of my pieces are made with solid copper or sterling silver wire. Be aware that these metals are malleable, so handle with care! I polish your piece before sending it to you. However, please know that these metals tarnish over time. Especially copper tarnishes fast. For best care, store your jewelry in an airtight bag and polish regularly with a polishing cloth. Both an airtight bag and a polishing cloth are included in your order! Also, keep jewelry away from water, steam, lotions, and oils to prevent damage.
