About this Product
3rd Gen 4Runners did not come with cabin air filters. This means your blower motor pulls in dust, dirt, and debris and blows it through the ducts into your cabin and face. I designed a completely user serviceable air filter that holds a piece of filter material in-line with the blower motor to filter air BEFORE it hits the blower motor to keep your cabin and motor clean! The filter snaps into place above the blower motor and only requires 3 screws to be undone to access it (3 screws holding blower motor in place). The filter restricts air by less than 5% based on my tests and shows no signs of stressing the blower motor.
This is an STL file only. Printing it yourself and cutting your own filter material is your responsibility. I recommend using 1/2" thick MERV 8 filter material that can be found on Amazon, or purchasing a complete one from me through the other options on this site. Print this file at full scale (approx. 135mm diameter for housing and 124.5 mm for lid). With supports. Print can be in PETG, ABS, ASA, Nylon, or any other high-temp filament. Do NOT use PLA. The lid twist locks into the housing. Depending on your printers ability to bridge, some light trimming may be required of the lock tabs/slots to snap into place.
