Meet the Maker
Welcome to Di's Studio Designs! My name is Diane, Di for short. My shop specializes in nature-inspired, whimsical faux floral designs, faux floral candle holders, fairy houses and designs, and Celtic-inspired wood-burned art. How it’s Made
The basic construction is basswood—hand cut, hand painted, and sealed with a low VOC varnish.
A glass votive holder is attached to the inside of the lantern.
A late spring/early summer-themed faux floral arrangement is attached to the top of the lantern.
Additional decor includes small river rocks, Spanish moss, and faux greenery, all glued into the lantern interior.
A metal ring is attached to the lantern top for hanging.
Felt pads protect the base.
