The house comes to life in semi-dark situations when illuminated by candlelight.
This house is 1 7/8"w x 5"h x 1.25"d
It is made of a pine block that has been painted and aged with acrylic paint.
An image of a sun is stamped onto the surface and highlighted with gold metallic ink.
A polymer clay border and crown that have been embellished with mica powder and embedded gems are attached to the front.
All parts are aged and any irregularities, cracks or imperfections are intentional to add to the charm and should not be considered defects.
This is a hand-painted item so variations are to be expected with each one-of-a-kind piece.

Meet the Maker
My name is Sylvr Sharp and I'm a mixed-media artist. I have never met a medium I didn't like.
My background is in retail visual display creating window displays and specializing in thematic environments and props. My favorite themes include Halloween, Dia de los Muertos, and Christmas.
Throughout the process of creating I often come across sources of inspiration which I immediately have to try. The products here are the result of those "shiny object" moments.

How it’s Made
This house is made of scraps of reclaimed wood which I paint with layers of acrylic paint to resemble an aged surface. The different colored layers add to the depth and texture of the wood. Once painted and sealed, I embellish the house by adhering polymer clay accents. These are made with rubber-stamped images highlighted with acrylic paint, mica powders and embedded gems.
