About this Product
This was a fun repurposed tissue box that I purchased at a local Goodwill. It's metal so I had to apply heavy gesso for the base.
I decoupaged sunflower papers and then used my IOD sunflower clay mold to create the sunflower and leaves.
I used layers of acrylic paints and antiquing waxes and finished off with a sealer.
By the time I was done, I realized this is heavy lol.
The box fits a standard cube size tissue box.

Meet the Maker
I’ve been an artist for over 20 years. I’m from a large military family and I started repurposing cigar boxes from a local shop where all the donations for the boxes went to purchasing cigars for deployed military.
I love repurposing items of all kinds though so I don’t limit myself to the boxes.
Angels are my favorite item to create and there’s nothing better than putting on some relaxing music and letting my creativity flow. I’ve learned to trust my work and not think too hard because in my opinion thinking means you don’t wanna make a mistake and there are no mistakes in art. I also thank God every day for my ability to create.
